I haven't really taken a few fun photos of myself in a very, very long time. I used to have fun doing this all the time but I just stopped I guess. This is what I wore to work today.

I haven't been able to get myself out of high-waisted styles lately. I find them entirely more flattering than regular waist. They put more emphasis in my small hips and make them look rounder, which I love. I want more!

I didn't like the weather today. It was muggy and sticky and hot.
As you can see, I have a bad habit of recycling pieces in my closet. That's because I don't have any clothes.













I have no idea where the blazer is from, it was a gift. Shirt is from American Apparel, pants from the thrift store, and heels are of Forever 21.

I love these shoes, but they're a bit too big. Without the straps that wrap around the ankle, they're a bit complicated to walk in. I made a mistake by slapping on some lotion before wearing these heels, my feet were sliding like mad!

I've realised that clothes shouldn't be taken so seriously. I really want to begin experimenting with different shapes and textures and forms.

Oh, she's only Seventeen...

Yesterday, I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday with some good friends.


That was my outfit by the end of the night.
Men's GAP shirt and American Apparel double U-dress worn as skirt, Forever 21 leather jacket and boots.


My outfit began as this, but things changed.

My friends and I rode the bus to Downtown Dallas and had some wonderful pizza.







We took the train to one of my favorite shopping areas, Mockingbird Station, and just relaxed. It started to rain on us.











We then went to Northpark Mall.





While at Northpark, in Forever21, my shoe's sole was hanging by a thread! I had to purchase some before we left because with every step, I was afraid that the sole was going to come off completely.

I tried on some amazing trousers and bebe and purchased those babies in an instant after trying them on. I've been looking for some good pants! A dream come true. The shoes that I tried with the pants looked great, but I couldn't afford them. Instead, I bought some look alikes at Forever21.







And that was my birthday. I was so happy to shop and to see everyone!

I had difficulty finding an outfit for church this morning. I had difficulty taking these photos. It was cold outside, my dog wouldn't listen to me, my camera was acting up. I need a photographer!

Truth be told, I do NOT know how to tie a scarf, especially a big thick one like this!
I haven't gotten the hang of being back in school. When I begin to do my work, I feel like pushing my papers to the side and placing my head on the desk and drift away into summer vacation. I honestly do not enjoy school.



I love this outfit. I wanna wear it over and over and over.

sweet dreams.

I've been having dreams of being unprepared for things. A couple of days ago I had a dream about being unprepared for a play. Last night I had a dream of being unprepared for a fashion show. In my dream, I was the coordinator, but the opening night of the fashion show, I had no clothes, I barely had any models--it was a nightmare.

This is Sunday's outfit, I wore it yesterday.







I don't know where I got the denim jacket. Its really old. Blouses from Macy's, Forever 21 skirt and shoes, and my trusty belt from the thrift.

Ugh man. School starts tomorrow. I don't want to go, I've enjoyed my break. Now I have to return to nagging students and teachers and my worst enemy, uniforms. I hate DISD.
Well, I have to get the last of what I need to do for school done.
